Baffa Jones resumes in setting dance floors alight with contemporary rhythmic flows that have a synthetic beat forming the foundation with loads of traditional instrumentation piled on top to handle the sweet melody. The EP walks a tightrope between being a fun and a sad release, with its uptempo pace and bright tones countered by its constant use of minor chords on the verses. This balancing act is surprisingly successful, and gives a EP a wonderful groove while also causing the listener to stop and reflect on the vocals.
